You won’t be treading water with the Slack Tide Cove Bass. This short scale solid body bass guitar is the little brother to the original hollow Cove bass. Same unique but familiar shape but with a simpler design. I love working with milk paint because it’s similar in spirit to one of the reasons I use oils. Milk paint will tell the story of its players life over the years. Slowly over time you will start to see where you picked, or placed your arm, or where the guitar sits on your lap. It will very slowly and subtly start to patina naturally over time based on your usage. This will tell the connection and story the player has with the instrument. This one comes with a very slight relic where you can see the beautiful grain of the roasted pine peeking through the dark green milk paint. The pickguard is a Gold mirror and proved very challenging when taking pictures but I think you can get the idea.
