Galleon
The Galleon - Built to Command the Sea
$2499
Shipping included for Continental United States
From the ground up, the Galleon was forged to conquer the pointy‑horn realm — a sturdier, comfier, truly ergonomic double‑cut that feels like it was shaped by Poseidon himself.
I set out to build a truly comfortable 24.625" scale instrument that solves some of the classic problems found in this style of solid guitar. With the asymmetrical body shape and the way the neck and bridge are laid out, you don’t feel like you’re reaching as far when you’re playing down by the nut — everything sits closer, more natural, more effortless.
This one is outfitted with a stop tail and bridge, but the Galleon can also be built with a Tele‑style short bridge like my other models. The neck mounting system is the same threaded‑insert construction I use across my lineup, so the neck stays locked in and totally stable.
The pickups hit the absolute sweet spot — they sound incredible under high gain, with a little breakup, or crystal clean. I haven’t found a way to make the Greenville Pickups High Noon set sound bad. They just handle everything beautifully.
The German carve around the edge was a last‑minute design decision, and honestly, it ended up stealing the show. The body is a red‑stained, two‑piece swamp ash, and the necks are roasted flame maple. You can choose either rosewood or ebony for the board, but they’re all built with a 12" radius.
Electronics stay simple: one volume, one tone. But the volume gets a treble bleed, and the tone uses a paper‑in‑oil capacitor so those two knobs give you everything you need without clutter.
